Capas Stingy Newsie Cap

I'm a head shaver so fit is difficult, and I'm a "tweener size". In the shop, large is a little small and extra large is way too roomy. That being said, maybe ten years ago I bought a Capas herringbone large, thinking it would stretch a bit. Wore it everywhere, hot, cold , very wet, very dry, and though it wears like iron and got a little friendlier, but no stretch. I just ordered this Stingy Newsie in gray extra large. It arrived fitting very large so I sunk it in very hot water for half an hour and tossed it in the dryer on high until it was damp. Wore it until it was dry. Wound up with a custom fit in an American classic hat that wears like iron and doesn't make you look like Huggy Bear. Highly reccomend!
