One of the classier shapes of straw hats is the teardrop. Other phrases for a teardrop hat can be the Bogart or C-Crown. These hats generally have a slope to the crown where it will be low in the front, high in the back or the other way around. Generally straw teardrop hats will not have higher than a 4 inch crown, however, brim sizes do vary.
